Empire of the Nile is a 4, Kentucky bred gelding. He stands just a hair short of 17 hands tall. He was retired from racing in the fall of 2021 due to ankle issues but they have since been x-rayed and his prognosis for his second career is very good. He will be sound for just about anything you would want to do but his ankles will always be big. Please don't let that stop you from considering him. He is a big teddy bear and rides like he was never at the track. He is willing to walk over poles and our bridge and he has a wonderful floaty trot that anyone would love.
Empire of the Nile is by Pioneer of the Nile and out of a Ghostzapper mare. He raced 5 times and earned $19,744 during his racing career. He shares the same sire as Triple Crown winner, American Pharoah. He is adjusting really well and loves all of the attention he is receiving here. He loves being groomed and has no bad habits of vices. Empire of the Nile is RRP eligible.
