Wonders Of Hislove is a 5 year old chestnut gelding. During his racing career he earned $140,989 and won the Groovy Stakes. He is by Early Flyer who is known to produce not only good racehorses, but good minded, beautiful horses. Wonders could definitely be a Breyer horse model.
Wonders was donated by his racing connections with a donation to help with his rehab. They wanted to give him every chance to recover and didn't want to worry about him ending up in a kill pen.
UPDATE: Dr. David Gilchrist at Lone Star Park Equine Hospital in Grand Prairie, Tx. is did surgery on Wonders on Monday, January 16th. Surgery went very well and Wonders is expected to make a full recovery. Once his rehab is complete we are hopeful his second career will have no limitations.
