Remember Me Rescue is a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Accredited 501(c)3 organization specializing in rehabilitating, retraining and rehoming retired racehorses.
Starship Chewy is a 7 year old thoroughbred gelding standing 16.1 hands tall.
His first trainer followed Chewy's racing career in hopes that someday he could retire him and find him a good home. That day came in late September and he arranged for Chewy to come to Remember Me.
Since arriving at RMR, Chewy has been transitioning from track life well. He has been in light retraining in the mornings and hanging out with our permanent residents in the paddock in the afternoons. He gets along great with our older boys and is a total snuggle bug in the stall. He loves being groomed and has no bad habits or vices.
