Miss Carmen is a recently retired, 6 year old thoroughbred mare. Her last race was in September but you would think she had never seen the racetrack. Carmen has taken to off track life about as well as any horse we have had. She likes to learn new things and thinks her way through any obstacle. This video was taken on her second day under saddle.
Carmen stands 16.1 hands tall and was reported to be sound by her connections. She is a beautiful mover with a fantastic walk/trot. You can sit or post her trot. Even her extended trot is smooth and consistent. She is learning lateral movement and is moving easily from leg pressure.
Carmen will remain in training at Remember Me until she is adopted.
