Lucky is a 4 year old gelding who was donated by his racing connections. He needs knee surgery and extensive rehabilitation before we can begin preparing him for a second career. He is currently on stall rest until we raise the money needed for surgery. The surgery is $2200 and we would like to raise an additional $800 to help with rehabilitation costs, bandages, medication, etc.
Without this surgery he could be pasture sound for a while, but will develop arthritis that will make his life miserable. The chip is large and will cause major damage to the cartilage over time.
