Tricky Prospect, his long journey to his forever home
Tricky Prospect was born in 1998. He was pulled from a Texas killer sale by Remember Me Rescue after being dropped off by the Texas A&M Commerce Breeding Program.
He was a stallion but was castrated shortly after arriving at RMR and now enjoys being part of a herd.
During the summer of 2017 Tricky was an ambassador for thoroughbred aftercare. He paraded at Lone Star Park each Sunday before the races to help people learn about retired racehorses. During the week he enjoyed walking back and forth to the track and being a 'coach' to the youngsters.
Due to Tricky's age we have pensioned him and he live out his days as a sanctuary horse at RMR. He enjoys meeting and greeting visitors and is a favorite of the volunteers.
