Imperial Red Bird is a 2019 gelding who retired from racing at the beginning of summer. He is a big boy with a sweet disposition. Sired by My Golden Song, out of Imperial Pomeroy, by Pomeroy, Imperial Red Bird is showstoppingly gorgeous!
After racing, Imperial Red Bird has had some layup time due to a crack in his right knee. This has since healed up, and he was given the "all clear" last week by the vet to be restarted. He has been a solid citizen being handled around the farm, standing for the vet, the farrier, in the crossties, for grooming, you name it. So we anticipate his restart to be just as smooth sailing!
